Through sustained efforts and innovative projects, we collaborate with public and private institutions, parents, and schools to develop initiatives that enhance traffic safety and beyond. From encouraging the development of safer road infrastructure around schools to traffic actions and informing parents about the correct use of car seats, our mission is to mitigate risks and promote an environment where everyone feels safer.

“Safe Roads to School” is a project addressing the safety of students on their way to and from school. Between July 2024 and June 2026, the project will involve activities to assess the road infrastructure around schools in Cluj-Napoca, as well as current perceptions of road safety culture. The goal is to generate evidence to support the implementation of tailored protective measures, creating a model of best practices and effective interventions for areas surrounding schools.
The integrated project "Beloved Child on Board", launched in 2018, is the first initiative based on a multisectoral approach aimed at improving the safety of children as passengers in vehicles in Cluj-Napoca.
The project is coordinated by the White Cross Foundation and implemented by the Cluj-Napoca City Hall, through the Local Strategy and Development Service, Project Management, and the Local Police of Cluj-Napoca, in partnership with the Cluj County Police Inspectorate and the Department of Public Health of the Faculty of Political, Administrative, and Communication Sciences at Babeș-Bolyai University.
Child Car Safety is a mobile app that enhances how parents can ensure their children's safety during car transportation. Get personalized recommendations for the appropriate car seat, check the seat's compliance and validity, share the account with family members to always have valuable information at hand, and receive important tips for keeping children safe in the car.
